Ranju shines at 36th National Games, 2022

Chingangbam Ranju Singh, who hails from Kongkham Leikai, Imphal East district has created a new history by winning the first-ever gold medal for Manipur State in Skateboarding category at 36th National Games, 2022.
Earlier, he had also secured the second position by winning a silver medal at the 1st India Skate Roller Games, 2022 which was held at Mohali, Chandigarh by the Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI).
The Manipur State Team for Skateboarding was led by Irom Umananda Mangang, Secretary of Manipur Extreme Sports and Skate Association (MESSA). The hardworking and dedicated efforts bring the long-awaited fruitful result by bringing laurels for the state at the National Games, which is the highest sporting event platform in India. In life, if we need to achieve something we need to work hard with perseverance and with full dedication.
