Lions Club of Imphal Valley announces Lions Quest Teachers Training Workshop

The Lions Club of Imphal Valley is pleased to announce the commencement of the LIONS QUEST programme aimed at “Engaging the Youth,” inaugurated today at Brilliance School, Malom Makha, Imphal West. The event, scheduled for June 14th and 15th, 2024, was formally opened by Lion W Gopimohom Singh, PMJF, IPDG, Lions International District 322D at 9:00 am.
Renowned international trainer Manisha Roy Ghanti from Pune will lead the Teachers Training Workshop (TTW), aimed at educating 21 teachers from Brilliance School, Malom, Brighter Academy, New Checkon, and Kakching Higher Secondary School, Kakching.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by DG Elect, Lion Th Kesho Singh PMJF, PDG Lion M Gojendra Singh SCA, PDG Lion H Manikumar Singh MJF, Lion Dr N Romi Singh, PMJF, and Programme Coordinator Lion Ch Ratankishwar Singh, MJF, along with Zone Chairpersons and members of the Lions Club of Imphal Valley.
Funded by the Lions Club International Foundation, this initiative marks the 3rd edition for the Lions Club of International District 322D in the Lions Quest TTW series for LY 2023-24. The program aims to foster positive youth development through character education, social learning, and awareness about drug and alcohol abuse prevention, focusing on Skills for Adolescence.
The participating schools will integrate these lessons into the curriculum for students in Standard VI-VIII, benefiting approximately 380 students who will receive corresponding book sets.
