World Meetei Council (WMC) has expressed serious concern about the silence of the RIMS authority to the ATSUM, KSO, and ANSAM for justice in the matters of recruitment in the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal (RIMS).
A statement signed by the Secretary-General of CEC – World Meetei Council, Yambem Arun Meetei said that such silence is deafening.
“If the RIMS authority does not have anything to say in defence of their recruitment activities then it is obvious that the RIMS authority has committed injustice. This action has vitiated the atmosphere in the state because it reeks of injustice committed against the Naga and the immigrant community”, the state WMC statement said.
It added that such silence has insulted our intelligence.
WMC expressed strong condemnation of the RIMS authority. The WMC urges the Health Minister, Government of India to place the Director of RIMS under suspension and deliver justice accordingly in the interest of the people.
