The nationwide campaign Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continued for the second day in the Kangpokpi district today. The main event was held at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Hengbung where experts gave information regarding schemes and the idea behind organising the Yatra by the Government.
At the venue, officials of Government departments in the district opened their stalls to give awareness regarding flagship schemes to the general public. The visitors were handed over pamphlets containing details of various flagship schemes provided in the district through respective departments. The officials gave awareness regarding the achievements of their department and ensured to reply to the queries of the people.
On the other hand, the officials of the District Administration Kangpokpi along with the IEC (Information, Education and Communication) van continued the journey for the second day in Kangpokpi. The van covered the areas of Hengbung, Taphou Kuki, and Changoubung while officials continued disseminating information and spreading awareness regarding the various Government flagship schemes. The officials also appealed to the general public to avail the schemes in case they have not availed yet.
The two-day Yatra which concluded today was organised under the supervision of the District Administration Kangpokpi participated by all the departments in the district. Even on the second day today, booklets and calendars were distributed to the general public.
