Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting (I & B) and Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS) Anurag Singh Thakur launched a photo-exhibition mounted by the Central Bureau of Communication(CBC), Regional Office, Imphal of the Ministry of I &B at the City Convention Centre, Imphal on April 24 as a part of the Chintan Shivir of YAS Ministers of States and Union Territories of the country. Union Minister of State for YAS and Home Nisith Pramanik was also present at the launching ceremony.
The themes of the three-day photo-exhibition are Azadi Ka Amrit Mashotsav(AKAM), India’s G2O Presidency, 9 Saal Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan, Vision@2047 and Mission LiFE. The Union Minister along with Union Minister of State for YAS and Home Affairs Nisith Pramanik looked at the exhibition panels with LED and back-lit panels on the above themes of the photo-exhibition. Senior officials of the Ministry of YAS and different local media units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting including PIB, CBC, DDK and AIR also accompanied the Union Minister while he inspected the exhibition panels.
