Training programme on Food Processing and Value Addition on Fruits & Vegetables held

2 Days Residential Training Program on Food Processing and Value Addition on Fruits & Vegetables held at KVK Bishnupur.
The Training Program was organised by Sushil Foundation for Agricultural and Rural Development (SAFARD) in collaboration with KVK Bishnupur under the support of North Eastern Region Marketing Cooperation Limited (NERAMAC). The Training program was mainly focused on the Farmer Producer Companies, Farmers, BOD of FPOs, CEOs and Accountant. In connection with the training program, a formal function was held at the Conference Hall of KVK Bishnupur in which Dr. Kh. Brajamani (Senior Scientist of KVK Bishnupur) , Imo Mangsattabam (Incharge – Zonal Office, NERAMAC) and N. Bandana Devi ( SMS, HC, KVK Bishnupur ) took the chair of Chief Guest, Functional President and Guests of Honour respectively.
During the training session, N. Bandana Devi ( SMS-HC, KVK, Bishnupur) gave hands-on training to the participants who were from Ukhrul, Senapati, Tamenglong, and Internally Displaced Peoples from Moreh.
Speaking on the event In-charge of Zonal Office Manipur, NERAMAC Imo Mangsattabam said, NERAMAC will be providing facilities to the farmers on such skill development training, to expand the self lives of produce from farms and making chain for marketing at National, International and inter-State to sell their produce.
