Talk program on Science Carnival of Mission Life held at Mangolnganbi College

As a part of National Science Day 2024 Celebration, a one-day Invited talk on the theme “Science Carnival of Mission Life” was held today at Mangolnganbi College, Ningthoukhong. The program was jointly organized by Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) and IQAC, Department of Physics, and IPR Cell of Mangolnganbi College. The program was attended by faculties, students, and officials of MASTEC. Sanjenbam Jugeshwor Singh, Senior Assistant Professor, JCRE Global College, Babupara attended the program as a resource person.
This year, the National Science Day is being commemorated under the theme “Indigenous Technology for Viksit Bharat.” Celebrated annually on February 28, National Science Day marks the monumental discovery of the Raman Effect by physicist Sir C. V. Raman on February 28, 1928. Sir C.V. Raman’s groundbreaking discovery earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.
