Swachhata Hi Seva campaign at Kangpokpi

The Swachhata Hi Seva 2023 campaign is currently underway in Kangpokpi district, with a range of activities being carried out throughout the district. The main objective of the campaign is to promote cleanliness and work towards a healthier future.
As part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva 2023 campaignunder the theme ‘Garbage Free India’, a cleanliness drive was organized today at the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Motbung, Kangpokpi district. The doctors and staff of PHC Motbung actively participated in the campaign, which is a 15-day initiative that encourages individuals to volunteer for clean-up drives and contribute to the Clean India goal as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
The purpose of the drive was to emphasize that maintaining cleanliness is the responsibility of every citizen and to motivate others to join in building a clean and healthy India by promoting personal hygiene and general cleanliness.
In addition, the Kangpokpi PHE Division provided training and distributed water field testing kits, bleaching powder, and chlorine tablets at various relief camps in the district.
Furthermore, a cleanliness drive was carried out on Saturday at Sandang Senba village, Island Sub-Division, Saikul Assembly Constituency in Kangpokpi district.
The Swachhata Hi Seva campaign is a two-week-long cleanliness initiative that was launched on the 15th of this month. Its primary aim is to encourage people from all across the country to actively participate in various activities. This campaign also commemorates the successful completion of nine years of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
