The students marched from their campus to Gandhi Chawk in the heart of Ukhrul town, carrying placards that echoed the values of equality, justice, and unity. The rally was a tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s immense contribution to building an inclusive and democratic India.
“Dr. Ambedkar was not only a jurist and reformer but a visionary who devoted his life to uplifting the marginalized and challenging social injustices. Today, we walk in his honor and pledge to uphold his ideals,” said one of the participating students.
The event highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s role as a transformative leader whose ideals of liberty, fraternity, and equality remain more relevant than ever. Students and faculty alike expressed their admiration for his courage, conviction, and compassion that laid the groundwork for a just society.
As the rally concluded at Gandhi Chawk, the atmosphere was filled with a renewed sense of purpose to carry forward Dr. Ambedkar’s mission of social transformation.
