Imphal Nov 4:

Service to humanity is service to God. This was stated by Oinam Romen Singh, the Intending Candidate of Singjamei Assembly Constituency in the National People’s Party (NPP) Ticket in the ensuing State General Elections 2022 while distributing the Monthly Pensions to a number of 131 Differently Abled Persons staying within the Constituency at a simple function held at Chingamakha Kshetri Leikai Nambul Mapal, Imphal West District Manipur through All Manipur Disabled and Handicapped Persons Development Agency today under his exclusive sponsorship.

Romen Singh said that Differently Abled Persons are different persons that can do a lot of things that normal persons cannot do. Their service to humanity and society as a whole is quite different and tremendous. They should not be underestimated at all. There should be a proper government policy for them. They should be groomed in a specific manner such that they can be self-reliant and also economically independent.

Romen further said that a permanent policy will be made meant only for the upliftment and development of such people if he is voted to power. He said that a layman cannot do a lot even having the intention to do for their welfare but he will do a lot more if he becomes public representative and thus he comes out to contest the ensuing Elections. He does so not to earn power but to give the people a real service.

He said that he will seek the public mandate in a humble way with a true spirit and not with money power. Money and muscle power cannot seek the public mandate as the public of the Constituency are all intellectuals. They cannot be forced with such illegal efforts. The public will cast their franchise with true justice, Romen assured.
