Senapati DC launches Ayushman Bhava

The Deputy Commissioner, Senapati Mamoni Doley, IAS launched the Ayushman Bhava today at DC Conference Hall after attending a nationwide live programme of the launching of Ayushman Bhava by the President of India Smt. Draupadi Murmu and across the State through video conference. The programme was organised by the District Health Society, Senapati.
Addressing the gathering, Senapati, DC Mamoni Doley IAS, said on the importance of Ayushman Bhav which actually means “A blessing to all”. She also said that the District administration and all concerned persons will be carrying out various tasks during this 15 day Seva Pakhwada to bring out a meaningful campaign. She further said that this program comes under the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and includes the Localizing Sustainable Development Goals (LSDG) which requires 100 percent participation of the village, Gram panchayat.
She mentioned that the Ayushman Bhava components comprise Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0, Ayushman Mela, and Ayushman Mela. She also mentioned that the details calendar of distribution of the Ayushman Bharat Health Card otherwise called the PMJAY e-card, weekly health melas, blood donation campaign, and cleanliness drives in all the District HQ areas, Sub- –Divisional HQs and the villages shall be prepared, and published in a day or two. This entire programme shall be carried out at the existing ABHWCs, PHCs, CHCs, and Sub-Health centers, she added.
She appealed to the CMO, Superintendent of District Hospital, DPM, MOs, DPO ICDS, all the SDOs/BDOs of the District to work with dedication and give quality wealth services during the campaign period and beyond. She also appealed to the village chairmen and secretaries to inform their respective villagers about Ayushman Bhava.
The programme was coordinated by Additional District Magistrate, Senapati P.P. Ronald, MCS welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of launching Ayushman Bhava.
Dr. Helen Shimray, Superintendent of District Hospital spoke on the issues of health care services that will be carried out in Seva Pakhwada starting from 17th September to 2nd October 2023. She also highlighted the parameters of achieving Ayushman Gram Panchayat Awards.
A pledge of Organ Donation was also administered among the members present and concluded with a vote of thanks by SDO, Paomata.
The programme was attended by DLOs, Medical Officers, CSOs, ASHA workers, Town Committee officials, and village Chairmen and Secretaries.
