Phungyar AC is the first in Manipur where every household get tap water – CM N. Biren

13 key post holders of the Naga National Front (NPF) and noted political worker Hopinson A Shimray of 43-Phungya Assembly Constituency have officially joined the BJP today. A rousing felicitation function of the political leader and the NPF key functionaries was organized today at Thambal Shanglen – the newly inaugurated office of the state BJP at Keishampat Nityapat Chuthek with Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, BJP state President A. Sharda Devi, BJP’s Election in charge of Manipur Ashok Singhal, RS MP Maharaj Leishemba Sanajaoba, Education Minister S Rajen Singh along with various leaders of the BJP on the forefront.
While welcoming the newly enrolled members of the BJP, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh highlighted the changes brought in Phungyar Assembly Constituency in the last 4 and half years. He said that with the coming of the BJP led government in the state, many developments in the field of Medical facilities, road infrastructures, police among others have been taken up in the Phungyar Assembly constituency.
“Phungyar Assembly constituency of Kamjong District is the first in Manipur where every household gets tap water”, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh said. He further said that in Ukhrul district 2 Oxygen plants have been installed.
Besides, N. Biren Singh said that with the coming of the BJP led government peace and harmony have been restored.
BJP president A Sharda, while welcoming the new members of the BJP said that the love bondage between the Hill and plain people has been strengthened after the BJP came to power.
“Manipur’s hill and valley have been equally developed and love bondage has been strengthened,” Sharda Devi said. She recalled how the people from the Hill area brought edible items to the people of the valley region at the time of lockdown during the first and the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
A Sharda Devi further reminded the speech of BJP National president JP Nadda, where he said that Manipur is the heart of BJP.
“In the upcoming Manipur state Legislative Assembly election Manipur will win more than 40 seats”, A Sharda Devi assured the gathering.
She also highlighted the various schemes like – Go to Hill, PMGY, and CMHT meet the people etc. which were introduced for the welfare and inclusive development of the people of the state.
