Modified NE invites SC & ST to National Conference

MODIfied Northeast India invites the participation of Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes from the region for the Confederation call for rally for dignity and rights.   
The All India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations, under the National Chairman ship of Dr.Udit Raj, Member of Parliament is hosting the 17th Maha-Rally on 8th December, 2014 at Ramlila Maidan, Ajmeri Gate in New Delhi.
The main objective of this rally is to remind our own government of the needs of poor and the reserved categories like SC/ST and dalits. The Confederation will demands for the reservation in promotion, redressal of SC/ST grievances, passing of Bill to strengthen the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act 1989; allocation of budget under Special Component Plan and Tribal Sub Plan as per population ratio; recognition of caste certificate of one State in other State ; ban on contract system in Safai karmachari work and regularizing them and their time-bound promotion; equal education for all and lastly, recongnition to SC/ST organizations by Government departments.
MODIfied Northeast India understands that the present government should be given some time to work out and deliver the result.
“Tribals and Dalits in the Country are very hopeful from Shri Narendra Modi Government.  People from under privileged community believe that Shri Modiji’s ministry will support them and will get the opportunity to participate in all walks of life.” Naorem Mohen, founder of MODIfied Northeast India said.
