Miscreants try to burnt Mumu Food shop

Miscreants tried to set ablaze Mumu Food located at Keishamthong Thangjam Leirak Machin along the Mayai Lambi road. The incident happened at around 10.30 pm of November 21. Portion of the shop was started burning but the owner of the rent house who happened to came out at the time timely extinguished it before it spread. The miscreants reportedly fled after seeing the owner coming out of the gate. This is the second time that the shop was attempted to set ablaze. Earlier, on November 3, at around 11 pm, miscreants set in fire in front of the door. It was also timely extinguished by locals of the surrounding.
Condemning the act Meira Paibi Apunba Lup of Khagempalli Panthak and Keishamthong Thangjam Leirak today staged a sit-in-protest in front of the shop. The meira paibis appealed not to repeat such act in future.
