Meeting Pass – Out Students Can Inspire Young Students: Th. Radhehshyam

 Education Minister Thokchom Radheshyam said that passed out students can give a positive impact on students and inspire them to become a good citizen of the State. He said student alumni should meet and interact with the young students to instil a sense of responsibility in them to contribute for the welfare of the school and the society as whole.
The Minister was speaking as the Chief Guest at the Felicitation Function, 2018 of the Churachand Higher Secondary School for the students who held positions in the recently declared HSLC and HSSLC examination, 2018. The programme was held at the school premise sponsored by the school’s alumni of pass-out students of different batches including the Batch of 1966.
Th. Radheshyam said the gesture of the Alumni to felicitate the students for their achievement and assuring to extend all possible help not to let them suffer like they had in the past, is very heartening. The Churachand Higher Secondary School, the Minister stated has been one of the pioneering schools in Manipur bringing educational revolution with positive changes in the State.
He stressed that the relationship between the teachers and students needs to be revived in the state. He said there is a need to restore the sense of human touch among the teachers and students, like in the past where they had a close bonding. He said such attachment need to be revived again to make the school become more attractive to the children and convinced them with the sense of belongingness towards the school as their second home.
The Programme was attended by Director Education (S) Th. Kirankumar, Principal, teachers and students of the school.
