Imphal, June 1:

As people see Chief Minister N. Biren Singh working days and night sparing no pain, for the people of the state, many continue to donate in either case or kind to help him fight the Covid -19 pandemic. Manipur organizations and individuals have donated Oxygen cylinders, concentrators and other equipment to fight the Covid -19 pandemic and many come up to donate money at Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund.
A statement by the Manipuri Association of Canada had announced a donation of Three Lakhs Rupees (INR 300,000/-) to the Manipur CM Relief Fund to combat this Novel Corona Virus. At the same time, the MAC members would like to thank all the corona warriors for their earnest and relentless
efforts for the people of Manipur.
In a statement, the Association expressed shock to see the death of near, and dear ones and the soaring number of active cases in this second wave of the global pandemic of COVID-19 in Manipur and elsewhere in India. Moreover, it is awful to hear when people do not get their righteous indignation, which a human being deserves after death due to considering the Government’s protocols for Corona’s death.
“Nevertheless, we stand in solidarity and pray for the family who cannot pay homage to the demise of their loved one. For this reason, the MAC members have come forward to support and contribute a mere sum of INR 300,000/- (Three Lakhs Rupees) to the government of Manipur and would continue to do so in the days to come”, the statement signed by Nabikishwore Haobijam, President of the association said.
