JNIMS Director donates Rs. 40,000 for Kidney Patient’s treatment

The Director of Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Science (JNIMS) contributed Rs. 40,000/- (Forty Thousand Rupees) today to the Relief Committee JNIMS in support of the treatment for Laishram Deviya, who is currently undergoing medical care at JNIMS due to kidney failure.
According to a statement by K. Seityajit, Laishram Deviya sought refuge at the Leimaram Relief Camp after her village was attacked by Kuki militants. She was admitted to JNIMS on May 24 last year, and tragically, her father passed away during her hospitalization. With doctors at JNIMS advising kidney transplantation for Laishram Deviya, the Relief Committee JNIMS has been seeking financial assistance to facilitate the procedure. Laishram Sanathoi, Deviya’s mother, has also appealed to the public for help. Currently, the patient is undergoing treatment at Bed No. 27, 4th Floor, JNIMS.
