JDO strongly denounce the statement of HPD (D)

The Jiri Development Organisation (JDO) denounced the recent statement of HPC (D) that Jiribam is the land of Hmar people.
Today, in a press release, the Jiri Development Organisation stated that since the inception of ethnic violence erupted in Manipur on May 03, the people of Jiribam from every section tried to maintain peace and harmony in the district.
“Whereas, on August 02, Hmar People’s Convention HPC (D) issued a statement claiming that Jiribam is the land of Hmar people as well as in the Kuki militant demand for separate administration, the HPC (D) also make an effort to include in its, which is very unfortunate and try to misinterpret the history of Jiribam in the wrong way”, stated in the press release of JDO.
The Jiri Development Organisation (JDO) vehemently condemned such a controversial statement of HPC (D) and also informed not to repeat such acts in the future.
JDO also cautioned that if any caste, community, or individual aim to disrupt the peace and harmony of Jiribam, then they should bear the responsibilities of outcome or consequences as well as JDO will also not remain as mute spectators.
Jiri Development Organisation (JDO) also expressed gratitude to the Hmar CSOs of Jiribam for publicly declaring and making efforts to withdraw the statement of HPC (D) which circulated on August 02.
