IMC employees stages protest

Imphal Municipal employees union today staged a sit in protest against the government inaction over its demand for implementation of 6th pay commission.  The union had already begun cease work strike from 10th of June this month.
In today’s agitation the protester forbid to enter Vice Chairman in the campus, and also announce that the gate will close from tomorrow.
Secretary of Imphal Municipal employee union Th Subita said that without the approval of executive officer, 30 sweepers has been appointed in duration of April 15 2015 to 2016. She further added that in Imphal Municipality there is only 1 post of Jamander however the Chairman has appointed 3.
She added that their agitation will continue till the demands are fulfilled.
