Hearing of K Sharat and K. Shyam differ on July 16; MSCP MLAs case on July 20

The hearing of the disqualification case for MLA K Sharat of Trinamool Congress and MLA K Shyam of LJP has been differed on July 16, 2015 by the Speaker Tribunal of the Manipur Legislative Assembly today. Three petitioners file disqualification case of LJP MLA K Shyam, who was elected from Langthabal Assembly Constituency while disqualification case for MLA K Sharat was filed by Trinamool congress MLA Th. Shyamkumar .
Reliable source said that the hearing of the case was held today at the speaker tribunal starting from 10 am. But after the counsel of both the respondents and petitioners had agreed to differ the date of the hearing to some other convenient day, the Speaker then differ the hearing of the case on July 16, 2015 after listening both the plea. 
Meanwhile, hearing case for disqualification of the 5 MSCP MLAs has been scheduled on July 20. The five MSCP MLAs – Nemcha Kipgen, RK Imo, P Brojen, Zanghelung Panmei and K Thamarjit – had merged with the INC and the merger has been challenge by one Adim Panmei, a chief functionary of the MSCP. The fate of the case is however uncertain as the said petitioner who filed the case has now joined the BJP Manipur Pradesh along with some of his party workers.
Mention may be made that there were hue and cry from section of people when the speaker tribunal disqualified 3 Trinamool Congress MLAs namely – Khumukcham Joykishan, Th. Bishwajit and O. Lukhoi.
Supporters of the three MLAs had even came out to the street and even burnt the effigies of Speaker and the CM.
