FOCS and BYPA commit to addressing social welfare and development issues

The Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS) and Borayangbi Youth’s Progressive Alliance (BYPA) have resolved to address social welfare and development issues. In a meeting held at the BYPA hall, it has been resolved to enhance cooperation in these sectors. The meeting saw participation from CSO leaders, including FOCS Vice-President BM. Yaima Shah, Secretary General Angom Punilkumar, and BYPA President Md. Rafijuddin.
During the event, BM. Yaima Shah emphasized the importance of launching various skill development programs to empower individuals and improve community living standards. The discussion also touched on addressing the aftermath of the violence that erupted in Manipur since May 3, caused by clashes with Kuki militants and narco-terrorists. The leaders called for unity and continuous efforts to restore peace and stability in the region.
The collaboration between FOCS and BYPA focuses on promoting mutual understanding, peace, and harmony, while also working towards Manipur’s territorial integrity and economic revolution. The meeting concluded with a call for sustained efforts towards social welfare and development, highlighting the importance of community involvement and cooperation.
