Imphal, Mar 2:

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) concluded the Financial Literacy Week (FLW) 2024, a week-long event held from February 26 to March 01, 2024. With the theme “Make a right start, become financially smart,” and three sub-themes: (i) Saving and Power of Compounding, (ii) Banking Essentials for Students, and (iii) Digital and Cyber Hygiene, the FLW-2024 aimed to enhance financial literacy, particularly among students and young adults.
Recognizing the importance of financial literacy, especially among the youth who are beginning to navigate personal finance complexities, the RBI focused on empowering them with essential financial skills. These skills enable individuals to make informed decisions, set financial goals, and plan for their future, thereby establishing a solid foundation for long-term financial security and success.
