Fierce Gun battle at Sajik Tampak

Heavy gun battle between armed insurgent group and Indian security force was reported near Indo-Myanmar in Sajik Tampak at around 6 am. Source said that the armed troop while coming on duty at Kongtang Village at Sajik Tampak in Chandel district near the Indo Myanmar Border come across a group of Indian security force who were again patrolling the  site. Both engaged in fierce gun battle which reportedly lasted for around half an hour . The source however fails to confirm any casualty on both side.
