Department of Education in Manipur has organized an award ceremony today, honoring students who excelled in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination and Higher Secondary Examination for the year 2023. The event took place at the Multipurpose Hall of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), located in Lamphelpat, Imphal.
H. Gyan Prakash, IAS, Commissioner of Education (S), Government of Manipur, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, accompanied by L. Nandakumar Singh, IAS, Director of Education (S), Manipur, who presided over the event. Additionally, Bisheshwar Khumukcham, MCS, Addl. Director of Education (S/Valley), Manipur, and Dangmei Manglem, MCS, Addl. Director of Education (S/Hills), Manipur, honored the ceremony as Guests of Honour.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of awards to the deserving students who demonstrated exceptional academic performance in the aforementioned examinations. The recipients were applauded for their dedication, hard work, and perseverance in achieving academic excellence.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Additional Director of Education (S/Valley), expressing gratitude to all participants, organizers, and supporters for making the ceremony a resounding success.
