COCOMI readies to push back Central forces from Torbung Bangla tomorrow

The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) is all set to move at Torbung Bangla in Bishnupur district and push back the Central Armed security as well as the barricades till Churachandpur district.
Speaking to media persons today afternoon, the Women Wing of the COCOMI said that the mothers of Manipur are ready to throng at Torbung Bangla tomorrow at 11 am to push back the central forces till Churachandpur district side. The assistant coordinator of the COCOMI women’s wing appealed to all people of the state including the mothers at Khwairambandh Keithel to come forward and jointly throng at Torbung so that Meitei people who have been driven out from their residences can return and settle back at their respective houses.
Media Co-ordinator of the COCOMI Th. Somorendra, had also stated that COCOMI has not changed its decisions to drive out the central forces and the barricades from the Meitei resident’s side. Talking to reporters this afternoon, Somorendra said that COCOMI had announced to drive out the central forces from Torbung area and the COCOMI is prepared to implement its decisions. He appealed to the people to jointly move together by standing unitedly.
