Class X result conducted by BOSEM declared; No Govt. School in top 25 again

The result of the High School Leaving Certificate Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur has been declared today. Interestingly, none of the students from the government school is found in the top 25 list of the result declared today. The result was declared in a simple function held at the Examination Hall of Board of Secondary Education Manipur, Imphal today. Education Minister Thounaojam Basanta Singh attended the function as Chief Guest.
Rahul Laishram of Catholic School, Canchipur topped this year’s High School Leaving Certificate Examination by scoring 586 out of 600 marks. Nongmaithem Dhanajeet and Tanishq Tongbram both students of Heritage Convent, Uripok shared the 2nd position by scoring 585 marks. Menaka Huidrom of Eureka Academy, Thounaojam and Jesia Khwairakpam of Ratan Kumar Memorial School, Kwakeithel Heinoukhongnembi shared the 3rd position by scoring 584 marks. Ashapriya Nongthombam of Tiny Tots’ Unique School, Imphal scored 581 marks and secured 4th position while Jeneva Khangembam of B.K. Golden Academy, Kumbi secured 5th position by scoring 580 marks out of 600 marks.
The overall pass percentage for this year is 76% which is the highest in the last 10 years.
