Civil bodies submits memorandum to appeal at higher Court against the release of Lukhosei Zou

Various civil society bodies including Meira paibis orgnisations of the state today submitted memorandum to MP, Ministers and MLAs of the state urging them to appeal to higher court against the release of Lukhosei Zou, who was arrested in connection with multi crore drug haul case by ND& PS Special Court, Manipur.

The  All Manipur Women Social Reformation and Development Samaj, Thoubal Ima, AMKIL, Tammi Chingmi, THANIL, Khwairamband Nupi Keithel Semgat Sagatpa Lup, Nongpok Leingak Apunba Nupi Lup, Apunba Nupi Lup, (ANUL) Bishnupur, Nongchup Imphal Palem Ima Apunba Lup (NIMPAL), Ireipak Enaat Chanura Loinasillon (ECHAL) and Meira Paibi organizations today met Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Lorho S. Pfoze, Law and Legislative Affairs Minister Thokchom Satyabarta Singh, Sports Minister Letpao Hokip, MLA Thokchom Radheshyam and MLA Karam Shyam and submitted memorandum urging them to appeal against the release of Lukhosei Zou. Zou was released by the ND& PS Special Court Manipur as no evidence was found involving him in the multi crore drug haul case from his residence at Lamphel in 2018.
