Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has firmly denied the rumors circulating about his resignation by reaffirming his dedication to leading the state through challenging times. At an event announcing the implementation of three new criminal laws enacted by the Union Home Ministry, CM Biren Singh has highlighted the necessity of stable leadership and reiterated his commitment to serving Manipur.
Addressing the media, he declared, “We have full confidence and must guide the people correctly. If we stray from our path, who will lead them? Manipur will fall into greater turmoil.” He called on media outlets to avoid spreading unverified information, warning that such false reports could cause undue panic among the public.
CM Biren Singh noted that political opponents might use these rumors for their benefit but he emphasized that the majority of people are disturbed by the unfounded news of his resignation.
