A large number of members of Meitei Leepun and supporters of Manoharmayum Barish Sharma today thronged to the residence of Thounaojam Brinda at Yaiskul Janmasthan here in Imphal over her remark on the Arambai Tenggol, Meitei Leepun, and Barish to the ongoing crisis in Manipur in a controversial voice record uploaded at social media.
Brinda in the voice record, had blamed the Arambai Tenggol, Meitei Leepun, and Barish Sharma for the ongoing crisis in Manipur. However, the members of Arambai Tenggol, Meitei Leepun, and supporters of Barish Sharma wanted her to clarify on what ground or evidence the organizations were blamed by her. Thounaojam Brinda having no other choice clarified that she had been misinformed by a video that she saw on a social networking site and that she had wrongly stated about the involvement of Arambai Tenggol and Meitei Leepun in the ongoing crisis.
She clarified on camera that Arambai Tenggol and the Meitei Leepun had nothing to do with the crisis and she had wrongly stated the statement. She said that Arambai Tenggol or the Meitei Leepun has nothing to do with the ongoing crisis.
