The All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) mourned the sudden demise of Leishangthem Mungyamba Chenglei of Tera Sapam Leirak at RIMS yesterday.
Late Mungyamba Changlei worked as a cameraman at ISTV Network. He later worked as a video journalist at ANI and TOM TV. And he had been associated with AMWJU for the last many years.
Members of the AMWJU and Editor’s Guild Manipur (EGM) observed two minutes of silence in a condolence meeting held today at the Manipur Press Club as a mark of respect for the departed soul and to extend solidarity with the bereaved family members. Floral tributes were also paid to the portrait of the departed soul.
