6 arrested for illegally entering India from Myanmar

At least six Myanmar nationals including one woman were arrested on charges of illegally entering Moreh, without proper documentation.
Police said the arrests were made over the past 24 hours from two separate places. On Saturday, two individuals were arrested at Eastern Ground in Moreh, Tengnoupal district. Four more were held near the Rich Hotel, also in Moreh. The Special Commandos of the Manipur police made the arrests in raids on the two locations.
Those arrested at Eastern Ground were identified as Min Thai and We Wei Fio Ao, both residents of Namphalong market in Myanmar, according to police. The four arrested near the Rich Hotel were identified as Thangsonlen Guite(33 years), Khamlenkap Guite(28 years), Thon Thon (28 years), and Mei Yuk(28 years), who are all said to be from the Sagaing region of Myanmar.
Police added that the arrestees have been handed over to the Moreh police station for further legal proceedings.
