Manipur Congress has commemorated the 33rd death anniversary of the former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi, as “Anti-Terrorism Day” today at Congress Bhavan. The occasion has served as a reminder of the loss suffered by the nation due to terrorism.
During the event, Congress leader and former Chief Minister, Okram Ibobi, reiterated the party’s stance against terrorism. He emphasized that “it was terrorism that led to the murder of Rajiv Gandhi, highlight the commitment of the Congress party to combating terrorism.”
Attendees at the Congress Bhawan paid respect to Rajiv Gandhi’s legacy and his contributions to the nation.
