15 Days Natural Dying training program inaugurated

A 15 – Day natural dying micro-enterprise development programme on ‘Natural Dying By using Locally Available Material” begins today at the office premises of Youth Social Club Cum Information Centre, Khurai Ayangpali Road in Imphal East.
The training programme was initiated by members of six matured Self Help Groups of Imphal East District, Manipur and is being organised by Social and Cultural Advancement Foundation, Khurai Thoudam Leikai, Ayangpali Road, Imphal East, Manipur under the sponsorship of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Manipur. The training programme will conclude on April 17.
Corporator of Ward No. 23, Imphal Municipal Corporation, Loushambam Romola, and General Manager/Office in-charge, NABARD, Manipur Regional Office, Imphal Niangkhangvung Guite attended as Chief Guest and President of the inaugural function of the training programme, while Y. Ibochou Singh, Lead District Manager, Imphal East and Irungbam Premjoy Singh, District Development Manager, NABARD, Imphal East District, Manipur attended as guests of honour.
Chief Guest of this function stated that it is nice programme because it is important to all sections of handloom products like Rani Phee, Kurta, Phanek etc. If we know good knowledge about natural dying, we can improve our products, she said.
