Imphal, May 30:

In the wake of the devastating cyclone that battered Manipur, Minister Sushindro has emerged as a leading figure in relief efforts in Imphal, particularly in the Heingang Constituency. Displaying a proactive approach, he has taken on the task of cleaning blockages across the city, starting with the bustling Ima Market area which is now partially submerged.
Minister Sushindro has been seen tirelessly clearing debris and blockages, ensuring the flow of water. Moreover, recognizing the urgent need for action, he has extended his efforts to tackle overflow issues in even other constituencies, notably in areas like Lairikyengbam Leikai, which falls under Heingang constituency.
Speaking to the media, he has emphasized the importance of collective efforts in addressing the aftermath of the cyclone comprehensively. While actions can be taken swiftly, he stressed the necessity for people to understand the importance of coming together to overcome the challenges posed by the disaster.
He has urged fellow politicians to step up and actively engage in relief efforts. Emphasizing the urgency of the situation, Sushindro stressed that it is not enough for elected representatives to merely assess the damage; they must take tangible actions to assist those in need.
In a passionate appeal to the community, he emphasized the importance of active participation from residents in relief activities. He highlighted the counterproductive impact of individuals causing traffic jams by simply coming to observe the situation without offering any assistance. Such actions, he noted, only exacerbate the challenges faced by relief workers and hinder their ability to provide timely aid to affected areas.
