MLA of the Sagolband Assembly Constituency RK Imo expressed strong condemnation to the killing of three Meitei villagers by armed Kuki militants at Kwakta early today morning.
“We got a very sad and unfortunate news today morning that 3 people were killed while they are sleeping at their own residence in Bishnupur District in Kwakta region”, a statement by RK Imo said.
He added that the situation happening in the state is saddening. “It’s very sad what is happening right now in our state how these militants or terrorists are coming all the way from another district & coming into the valley area & killing people in their homes while they are sleeping. It’s really something that needs to be answered now” RK Imo said.
He further stated that the so-called Para-military forces and security forces who were plying around over there needs to answer a lot. How on earth this was allowed to happen? Who all are on duty at that point of time?
“I, think these people needs to be suspended, strict actions need to be taken against them and the particular company which is there, I think we need to take action”, the statement by RK Imo said
He said that he had written a memorandum to the Union Home Minister that there are certain security forces which are still creating some kind of uneasiness between the people and the state.
